Since I took introduction of computer class, I have learned about windows, power point, word, and HTML. Especially HTML is the most interesting to me. Actually, before I learned it, I had basic skill of it, but I could learn more details of it. There were several things I didn’t know. Final assignment of the class is making a web page. I’m almost finished it. I was looking for good pictures or something I need for my web pages, and I found a lot of free materials for web pages. They are so beautiful. I think that they are edited by using Photoshop software. While searching the free materials, I came to be attracted. I like taking photos and I want to become a person who can edit photos and movies. It sounds so interesting to me. I really want to try to make such materials. If possible, I want to take Photoshop class.

Viral Video

Viral video is a kind of commercial on the internet. I like funny viral videos. My friend watches them for killing time. Another friend of mine is gathering a lot of videos and making a collection. My favorite site of vial video is viral. Com http://www.funnyplace.org/ This site updates a week, maybe. I would recommend 2899 and 2900. There is a famous story which relates to viral video. David Elsewhere is a famous dancer now. When he was a college student, he took part in a dance audition. This scene was recorded and uploaded on the Internet. http://media.ebaumsworld.com/robotdance.wmv Many people downloaded and watched his interesting dance, then he became a famous. He appears in commercials of 7-Eleven, Heineken, Pepsi , Apple's iPod.

Three web sites

I would like to introduce three fun web sites. Actually one of my friends told me, but after I knew the websites, I really became to like them. The first one is “Break.com” This site has a lot of funny short movies. Especially I like The Discovery Channel. A man is watching a TV. Two bears are sexing. He seems to be devoted himself to watch it, but….. ! The next one is “eBaum’s World.” This site has a variety of contents such as games, video, audio. One of my most prefer contents is pictures. Especially “Worlds Fattest Cat.” The cat is amazingly fat! I was really surprised. But the cat is very cute! The last one is “viral x. com.” This site has a lot of funny viral videos. My most prefer one is number 2899. These web sites are good for killing time if you have time. I promise that you will laugh!

Winny

Recently, I often hear the word “Winny” on TV news. I found a foolish criminals who were arrested by police. It is relating to “Winny.” The criminal had the software on his own computer. He got private information such as ID password of customers of an internet banking company. He tried accessing and stealing money from company. However, his ID password was also stolen because his computer infected with an exposure-virus through the software. He was stolen his money by somebody else. According to the article, the internet banking company found illegal access by two people, so police could arrest both him and the other person. In Japan, Winny is not prohibited by Japanese law today. I know some people who I know have the software and use illegally. They say that they can’t live without Winny today and it is very nice software to especially college students. I am a person who downloads music with paying money for a company, so I hate them.

Net Neutrality

I had to research about “Net Neutrality” for extra lessons, blog homework, of computer class in this week. I typed this vocabulary and clicked “go” in two search engines, yahoo and google. There were a lot of his. I tried reading several web pages. However, I really couldn’t understand it well. What I could understand about it was that we might have to pay money for some providers if we want to watch a TV show and use some internet providers. According web pages which I found, “Net Neutrality” came to be a big problem causing arguments especially in America. I didn’t know that. I was very shocked. I use internet very often for watching TV and listening to music, so probably I would have many troubles. I would disagree with people who are supporting the idea even though I don’t know about Net Neutrality very well.

My ideal styles of computer in the future

Now people came to use computer in business, school, and so on more than before. In the future, I think that people will use it more and more. If so, computer must be more useful. For example, very, very thin screens might appear. It is just as thin as a piece of paper. In addition, it is not hard but so soft that people could bend it to put on their bags. It dose not need any cables to connect to computer because today’s Bluetooth or WiFi might be amazingly developed. Of course, computer would be also thinner and smaller. Every laptop computer could be easily connected to the internet everywhere. By the way, I watched Minority Report, a movie. In the story, Tom Cruise uses a computer which has no keyboard and mice. He commands the computer by words. He puts a something small on his fingers and moves his arms, then, files on screen follows his commands. It’s so cool, isn’t it? I wish that such computer could be usual and common now.

My younger sister really likes watching TV and DVD, and listening to music, but she dose not have a TV and a CD player because her room is really small. Her room is filled with a dresser, a desk, and her bed. Therefore, she always watches TV in a living room and listens to her CD in my room. She is a little pity. If I had a lot of money, something like 10,000,000 yen, I might buy a computer to my younger sister. I would buy TV type computer and i-Pot(nano) for her. TV type computer is very thin, and i-Pot is very useful and dose not need space to place on. She dose not know about Mac and I don’t know, too. I want to support her, so I would choose Windows. I researched about TV type computer of Windows a little bit. The name is “type V”, and it’s a Sonny’s computer. OS is Windows XP Home Edition. CPU type is Pentium 4 641(3,20GHz). Capacity of memory is 1 GB. It has digital TV tuner. They are enough to her. According to the explanation, image quality is very high. The cost is 219,800 yen. I want this computer, actually.

Social ngineering

Social engineering is ways of tricking people and getting personal information, such as passwords and credit card details, by using telephone or Internet. Originally this name is from computer vocabulary.　The purpose of social engineering is unlawfully getting password or credit card details and cracking. The examples of old ways are calling someone, pretending to be a police and getting his or her account number. Today, social engineer uses more skillful and clever way. For example, in computing, phishing is a criminal technique of social engineering. Phishing is carried out by using email or instant message.For exsamole, a third person, social engineer, pretends to be an official person of famous membership website or banks and sends emails to targets. The email says like, “New customer system will be available. Go to the URL and input your information.” He of she goes to the webpage, which is made by the third person and looks almost same to the real one, and inputs her credit card details or account number on the page, then the third person uses that information and steal money. According to Wikipedia, phising is increasing especially in America and there is a victim who transferred 100000 dollars.

In a park

I live in Tokyo now, but I had been in Saitama for 12 years. My parents, I, and my sister moved to Tokyo 10 years ago. My grand parents still live in Saitma, so I often go to see them. Most people have a image that Saitama is not a county side, but they are wrong. My hometown, Satte, is really country side. For example, there are a lot of rice fields around my grand parents’ house. The stronger evidence is that it takes more than 15 minutes to go to nearest supermarket by car. Moreover, there is no Karaoke box in my hometown, so I have to go to the next town. I really like Karaoke, so Satte is not so convenient, but I love there. This is because there is a lot of nature. For example, almost every park is larger than Tokyo’s one. My favorite park in Satte is Agri park because there are really large space for children to play soccer, baseball, and anything. In addition, there is a hill where many flowers bloom. It is very nice park. My most favorite part of the park is animal land. In this spring, several babies were born in the park. All of them are so cute. I took their photos.

What is Excel???

Especially I want to learn about Excel in the computer class. Also I want to learn about Word Processor, but I probably have the basic skill of it, even though I don’t have enough skill, which college students must have, such as formatting outline or research paper. On the other hand, Excel is completely mystery to me. What is Excel? I have never clicked the program actually and no opportunity to use it. I really don’t know even what it is. My friends who can use it and love it often say, “Excel is one of the greatest programs!” I’m not sure she is right or not. Anyway, I’m glad to get the chance to learn about Excel and sometimes uneasy about the unknown program.

I and computer

I have used three computers. The very first time was when I was elementary school. It was the first and last laptop computer. The next one was desktop, Windows 98. I made an own homepage by using it. I had kept writing diary, uploading a picture which I took, and made some comments to my net-friends almost everyday for a year, but one day it was attacked by a virus and broken suddenly. All dates of the computer were gone. I was really, really shocked. Since then, I became to be less interested in computer and Internet, and I sometime push backup key on keyboard if I take good photographs by my digital camera or Keitai. Now I don’t have own homepage, but I have two blogs including this one. Computer makes my daily life better with its amazing ability, but sometime makes me frustrated, so now I think that it is good to me to be less dependent on it.
